ABOUT

Fred and Me 2.0

Anna the founder and owner, is a Master's qualified (Level 7) Veterinary Physiotherapist who graduated from Writtle University College. In addition to this, she holds a Level 3 Certificate in Canine Hydrotherapy and a Level 4 Certificate in Advanced Underwater Treadmill Techniques.

Her compassionate and empathetic approach ensures each animal's treatment is tailored to their individual requirements, by incorporating scientifically evidenced techniques to provide the highest level of care.

Anna spent her childhood growing up with her family's Labradors and several horses, including her Grandad’s rare breed Suffolk Punch horses. From here, her passion continued to grow and ultimately led her to pursue a career as a veterinary physiotherapist.

Whilst at university she studied for four years, completing modules in anatomy, exercise physiology, biomechanics, rehabilitation and performance to name a few. Additionally, Anna carried out two research projects: the first comparing the heart rate of Thoroughbreds during racing and training. The second concerning the heart rate of horses during underwater treadmill exercise.
